Factiva User Guide

The Companies/Markets section of Factiva offers information on Companies, Industries, Quotes, and Market Data Charts.

Click on the Companies/Market tab in the top menu, then make a selection.

• Company: Get a Company Snapshot. Search by name or ticker. You can create a custom report.
• Industry: Get Industry Snapshots. Select by Industry name to find targeted news, reports, charts, analysis and financial data.
• Quotes: Get current or historical quotes for Stocks, Funds, Currencies, Common Market Indicators.  
• Market Data Charts: Enter a company's symbol, choose a date range and display options, and create charts.

Market Data Charts (available under the Company/Markets tab) provide interactive charts.  You can compare data between companies and get news articles for a point in the graph.

Click on a point in the graph and Factiva will find news articles related to that company on that date.
