We can purchase streaming video and digitize physical media for placement in Canvas courses. Faculty and teaching assistants can submit audio and video requests by contacting O'Neill Reserves at email@example.com. All requests must comply with Fair Use guidelines.
Accommodations to the loan periods can be made for instructors who wish to view media materials during class. To request media materials for classroom viewing, email firstname.lastname@example.org with the date and time you need the media material as well as the title and call number of the item you wish to borrow. Please provide 24 hours' notice for media materials on reserve for your class so we can ensure it is available.
There may be instances when an instructor would like to show a film that is on reserve for another course. When this occurs, Reserves and Media staff will consult the syllabus or instructor of the other course to determine if the film is needed for that week. This helps ensure that media materials are available for that course.
For media not on reserve for your course, please provide 7 days' advance notice to the Reserves and Media staff. Materials will be placed on the hold shelf at the Circulation Desk located on the 3rd Floor of O’Neill Library.
