Printing

Printers and print release stations are available in all libraries for use by faculty, staff, and students with EagleBucks accounts.

Guests and those without EagleBucks funds should consult with staff at a circulation or reference desk.

Scanning

All libraries have scanners that can be used at no charge.

  • BC users can email their scanned material to their BC email account, save on a flash drive or send to the printers.
  • Guests can save scanned materials on a flash drive.

Locate and Copy Services

You can request copies of print articles from books and journals located in O'Neill Library as well as most other BC libraries. Use the Request Article or Request Book Chapter link in the catalog or the Copy Request link on the ILL Form. There is no charge for this service.

You will be notified via email when the item is available. Obtain the article by clicking the link provided in the email and logging into your Interlibrary Loan account. Call the Interlibrary Loan Office (617-552-3209) if you have any problems. Please note:

  • This service adheres to U.S. Copyright guidelines and can scan only one chapter per book and one article per issue of a journal. Self-service scanners and copiers are available in all libraries for copying/scanning additional chapters, etc.
  • U.S. Copyright guidelines prohibit you from printing more than one copy or forwarding the document to other users.
  • Copies will not be made from books on reserve at any of the libraries.

Faxing

Outgoing faxes can be sent using the fax machine located in the O’Neill Library Level 3, Technology Support Center. The fax machine cannot receive transmissions.
