Doctoral dissertations and master's theses are rich information resources. They general provide a comprehensive literature review and extensive bibliography for the topic, as well as original research. In the past, they have been very difficult to obtain, but many are now readily available through various databases and repositories.
ProQuest Dissertations & Theses: This provides citations and abstracts to more than 2 million dissertations and masters theses in all fields from 1861 to the present. The full text of most dissertations are also available for download. Note: If you are interested in finding Boston College authored dissertations only, type "Boston College" into the search box entitled “University/institution".
