How to Record Messages
Turn on the power by sliding the Power button on the left side of the recorder.
To select a folder to save the recording, press "Folder/Index". Keep pressing until desired folder is reached.
To begin recording, press the red Rec button.
To stop recording, press the Stop button.
How to Play Messages
Select the folder where the recording was saved by pressing "Folder/Index".
To select the correct recording in the folder, move back and forward to locate the correct recording.
To play the recording, press "OK".
How to Upload and Convert Recordings Using iTunes
Eject the USB Port by sliding down the USB Connector Lever and plug into a computer.
Open iTunes on the computer.
In iTunes, select File > Add File to Library.
In the new window, find the WS_853 external USB drive.
Select the RECORDER folder.
Find the folder that your recording was saved in and select that folder.
Find the correct recording and select Open.
If iTunes ask to convert the file from a WMA file to an AAC file, select Convert.
Once the recording has been uploaded into iTunes, it will appear in your Music folder. You may save, email, or upload the recording to the desired location.
