Voting Requirements

There are a lot of places to find information about voting. USA.Gov has centralized much of this information. 

Registering to Vote

  • TurboVote: Boston College has partnered with TurboVote to provide you with the information and materials you need to vote in every election from local to presidential. TurboVote allows you to easily register to vote online, verify or update your voter registration, request an absentee ballot form by mail, and sign up for text and/or email election reminders.

Massachusetts Voters

  • MassVote: MassVote provides information on Massachusetts voter registration, absentee voting, voting rights, and information for new voters.
  • Massachusetts Online Voter Registration: Register to vote in Massachusetts! Voters without a driver's license or non-driver ID from the RMV must mail a registration form postmarked by the deadline or submit it to an election official.
  • Massachusetts Elections Division: Tools and support for Massachusetts voters including candidates, ballot questions and details on the voting process
