Note: This document camera has two modes and can be connected directly to a projector or monitor via VGA or to a computer (PC or Mac) via USB.
Installation: Projector or Monitor
- Connect a VGA cable to the “VGA port” on the back of the VZ-1 HD camera. Connect the other end of the VGA cable into your monitor or projector’s VGA port.
- Connect the USB power adapter to the “USB/Power port” in the back of the camera and plug the adapter into the power socket.
- Turn on the camera by pressing the “Power” button on the front of the unit.
- Turn the resolution selector below the power button to “Auto Res.”
Note: If an image does not appear while on “Auto Res,” you may also manually select a desired resolution by turning the resolution selector to the preset resolutions.
Installation: PC or Mac
- Insert the CD-ROM into your computer and follow the prompts to download the IPEVO Presenter Software.
- Connect the USB cable to the “USB/Power port” in the back of the camera and to your USB port on your computer.
- Turn on the camera by pressing the “Power” button on the front of the unit.
- Launch the Presenter Software on your computer and a window with a live video image from your document camera will appear.
