There are a variety of places to study in O'Neill Library ranging from quiet study spaces to collaborative group spaces. With over 1,400 seats available, there are a many seating options ranging from table seating, individual carrels, lounge chairs, and group study rooms. During the fall and spring semesters, O'Neill Library is open 24/5 Sunday-Thursday.

There are individual study spaces on levels 3 through 5 of O'Neill Library. Levels 4 and 5 are designated quiet study areas.
Designated spaces for masters and doctoral students to work include a Graduate Reading Room located on the 4th floor of O’Neill library near the stairs, and O’Neill Library Room 511, a graduate student only group study room.
The study rooms on Level 5 of O'Neill Library can be reserved up to 7 days in advance by BC faculty, staff and students. These rooms are intended for groups of 2 or more and with reservations ranging from 1 to 4 hours. Reserve a Study Room.
