This guide highlights some of the resources available for legal research for the general Boston College population. Law School students may want to go directly to the Law Library website.
Secondary sources such as legal encyclopedias, reference sources and articles are often a good place to start. They will often provide an overview of the topic and citations to primary materials (cases, laws, etc.) and other secondary materials.
Law review articles are scholarly articles written by legal scholars and law school students. They contain many footnotes, which often link to primary documents.
