Godly Play Curriculum

:

Getting Started

Godly Play is a curriculum based on the research of Jerome Berryman, and influenced by the Montessori method of teaching.  Children are invited into spiritual reflection and play through imaginative engagement with stories based on the Bible and the history of the Christian church.  Stories are told to children using manipulatives that they can use and also play with themselves.

Godly Play Curriculum at the TML

The Theology and Ministry Library (TML) offers Godly Play curriculum sets made by Godly Play Resources which students, faculty, and staff can borrow.  This guide has been developed to help make locating the sets in the BC library catalog easier, and to provide links to training videos and other supplementary information that may help in understanding and using the curriculum.  To see the sets, please view the subpages devoted to different volumes of The Complete Guide to Godly Play.   If you would like to borrow a set, please inquire at the TML Circulation Desk.

For the complete set of training videos on Godly Play, please see the Godly Play Foundation's YouTube Channel.
