The easiest way to verify if Boston College has an article, is to search for the journal that published the article in our Library catalog. If we do not subscribe to the journal, then we do not have the article. Interlibrary Loan is the best way to request the article. You will need to create an account the very first time you use Interlibrary Loan.
HathiTrust: A digital repository for the nation's research libraries, HathiTrust brings together the digitized book and serial collections of major universities and other partner institutions, a significant portion of which is in the public domain and available full text. Boston College's status as a partner makes it possible for members of the Boston College community to download any of the out-of-copyright items as PDFs.
Members of the BC community can find and obtain books and other materials from beyond BC in several ways:
Material from BC, Boston Library Consortium, Center for Research Libraries, Google Books, and libraries worldwide from one interface.
Members of the BC community have onsite access and borrowing privileges at the 17 members of the Boston Library Consortium (BLC). Request a BLC borrower card from the O'Neill Circulation Desk before you go.
You can also complete an interlibrary loan (ILL) form to have books, media, and articles sent to BC from other libraries.
