Web of Science now has a new look
Web of Science (containing the Science Citation Index database) has long been an important resource for locating journal articles across the sciences. It is particularly noted for its citation searching capability, allowing users to search for more recent articles that cite older, significant works. Choose "Web of Science" from the "Select a Database" tab to gain the full search power of this database.

SciTalks: Smart People on Cool Topics
Over 1,000 video clips on scientific topics, with more to be added all the time. Many of these are lectures by well-known experts in their fields – Nobel Laureates by the dozen, Richard Feynmann, the famous physicist; Alan Lightman talking about Great Scientific Breakthroughs of the 20th C.; etc. . You’ll also find NOVA broadcasts and NPR interviews. Search by name, field or topic.

Quest is almost always the best place to start when you're trying to find resources that we have here at Boston College. Use Quest to find call numbers for books and journals that we own. You can also link to online subscription resources through Quest.
Online Databases
Use the Online Databases link on the Libraries' homepage to search for journal articles on your topic. Many of these databases also provide online access to the full-text of the articles they cover.
E-journals
The E-journals list gives you immediate access to the online journals provided by Boston College Libraries. However, if you don't find the journal title that you need, be sure to check Quest to see if we might have it in print format.
