Welcome to the lending unit of the Boston College O’Neill Library’s Interlibrary Loan Department.
Materials requested are generally retrieved within 24 hours. Electronic items are delivered via Odyssey, Article Exchange and Rapid. Book loans are delivered via UPS and USPS. Massachusetts Library System members will receive books through the Massachusetts Library Courier.

We supply loans and copies from O’Neill Library, Bapst Library, Social Work Library, and the Theology and Ministry Library to the academic community as part of the service mission of Boston College. Items at Boston College’s Law Library (BXL) may be requested directly from that library.
The requesting library is responsible for borrowed materials from the time they leave Boston College library until they have been returned and received by Boston College library. If damage or loss occurs, the requesting library is responsible for compensation. Current charges are $100 per item.
