When you get a list of results, you want to find the library and call number for the book. This is the book's address on the shelf and will tell you where to go. If you want to read a book online, check for the available online.
Click on the title of the book you are interested in to learn more about it, see what is located near it on the shelf (these books are all the same general topic so they might also be of interest), and also see if the book is actually in the library for you to check out. This is whether it is available or not. Once you are ready to get the book, you can request it if you are not able to come into the library right away, or if the book is checked out and you need it. If the book is checked out, it will take us a few days to get another copy from another library through our interlibrary loan department.
If you are in the library or can come to the library, choose the locate button which will show you where in the stacks the book is located. Note that the shelf number is not exact, so you will need the call number. Ask at the Research Help desk if you have any questions: we are happy to walk upstairs with you to find the book.
