Using Databases

:

Getting Articles

Quickly learn basics of using library databases to find articles.

Download Full Text

In this example, Academic OneFile allows you options for downloading the article. Keep in mind that download links look different in different databases.

Find it @ BC

If the database doesn't provide an option for full-text (pdf or html), select the "Findit@BC" button. It may look a little different in different interfaces. Follow the link to select a publication that includes your article's publication date in the range of available dates.

NOTE: If you follow a Find it @ BC link to an article, and still can't access the article, that is a system error. Please use the "Report a Problem" link to get it resolved and get access to the article.

Interlibrary Loan

If we do not have the article you are looking for, you can request it from another library with Interlibrary Loan. Click the Interlibrary Loan link and sign in. More information on Interlibrary Loan.
