Academic feeds and alerts are a great way to keep current with developments in higher education and up-to-date on any new literature in the field. Often, individual journals will allow you set up alerts for notification of table of contents, news as well as newly published books. How to set up the feeds and alerts can vary by journal and/or by database platform.
To subscribe, look for links or buttons labeled "Search History/Alerts" or "Create an Alert," or find the RSS icon in the database or journal.
Note: some databases will not display these links until you've already run a search.
