Dear Wall, I'm a superfan of the movie Interstellar. Can you share some fun facts and your thoughts about it?
What a great film, and one that made many humans and walls alike think WHAT?? I mean a wall that allowed Matthew McConaughey to communicate through space AND time? It seems like the ultimate scientific fantasy, but this entire movie is based on the work of astrophysicist Kip Thorne (QC6 .T526 1994) and he worked very closely with the crew to make sure that they stuck to the theory and did not take it too far into fantasy. Another favorite fun fact is that there are many scenes that were not filmed exclusively with CGI. In fact, the dust storm scene was filmed with real dust, Christopher Nolan actually grew 500 acres of corn for the farm shots (then sold it), and the robot KIPP was a puppet controlled by an actor. Also, the survivors that were interviewed in the beginning and showed at the end of the movie were real survivors of the Dust Bowl disaster during the Great Depression.
