Edible Books Festival

Initiated by book artist Judith A. Hoffberg in 1999, Edible Books Festivals are held by libraries worldwide on or around April 1st. The concept is simple- create a (mostly) edible object that relates to the written word. Books, poems, short stories, graphic novels or anything written can serve as the inspiration.

Include your name, title of your entry, and inspiration title and author

Deadline for entering is April 4, 2018

Rules

  • All BC students, faculty, and staff are invited to participate (as individuals or teams)
  • Entries must be primarily edible and relate to a book, poem, story or have written word qualities
  • Entries should hold their shape while on display (about 2.5 hours without refrigeration)
  • Entries must be delivered to O'Neill Library by 11:45am or dropped off earlier at the Circulation Desk
  • Multiple entries are allowed if space permits
