Web of Science indexes journals and conference proceedings in the sciences, social sciences and humanities and providing detailed citation analysis and citation searching, It covers from 1900 to the present, and is global in scope. Click on "Cited Reference Search"
Scopus, a multidisciplinary database, Find H-Index information, compare journal impact data, and analyze publication and citation trends. Scopus provides comprehensive coverage of a large number of journals from 1996 to the present.
After you conduct a search, the list of results will often include a number indicating how many times the item has been cited. Click on the "number" to get a list of documents that cited to the item.
Publish or Perish is a software program that retrieves and analyzes academic citations. It uses Google Scholar to obtain raw citations, then analyzes them. Please see the Caveat Emptor on using it.
