Printers and print release stations are available in all libraries for use by faculty, staff, and students with EagleBucks accounts. In O’Neill Library printers are available on Level 1 and Level 3.
Guests and those without EagleBuck funds can buy cards from a vending machine in O’Neill, Social Work, Law and the Theology and Ministry Library at $5 each. Exact change in paper bills is required, five $1 bills or a $5 bill. Prints are $.15 per page.
All libraries have scanners that can be used at no charge.
BC users can email their scanned material to their BC email account, save on a flash drive or send to the printers.
Guest users can save scanned materials on a flash drive or send to the printer.
Locate and Scan Services
You can request copies of print articles from books and journals located in O'Neill Library as well as most other BC libraries. Place your request via this Online Form in My Account or directly from a database using the Find It function. There is no charge for this service.
You will be notified via email when the requested item is available. Obtain the article by clicking the link provided in the email and logging into your ILL/Document Delivery account. Notify the Interlibrary Loan Office (617-552-3209) if you have any problems. Please note:
- This service adheres to U.S. Copyright guidelines and can scan only one chapter per book and one article per issue of a journal. Self-service scanners and copiers are available in all libraries for copying/scanning additional chapters, etc.
- U.S. Copyright guidelines prohibit you from printing more than one copy or forwarding the document to other users.
- Copies will not be made from books on reserve at any of the libraries.
Self-service photocopiers are located at the Law Library. Copies using EagleBucks are $.10 per copy. Patrons can send outgoing faxes using the fax machine located in the O’Neill Library Level 3, Technology Support Center. The fax machine cannot receive transmissions.
