Subject-Specific Library Instruction

Library Instruction with Your Subject Liaison

In addition to the special collections sessions on primary source literacy, students benefit from an information literacy session tailored to your subject. These sessions can cover searching for books and articles, citation management, and any of the ACRL Information Literacy Frames. Students' and their research projects benefit from pairing these sessions with their special collections sessions to get a larger understanding of the research process.

Digital Scholarship Instruction

Special collections instruction and research frequently lends itself well to digital scholarship research projects. If you are interested in pursuing an digital assignment or project, we're happy to collaborate with you and our digital scholarship team. Digital Scholarship Librarians work in conjunction with subject liaisons in meeting the needs of faculty and students who are engaged in digital scholarship activities. They can create custom workshops, classroom instruction, or provide more hands-on support for digital scholarship projects.
