How to donate to Burns Library

Financial Support

Your financial gift to John J. Burns Library helps us to host events and programs, purchase special supplies and equipment, and acquire rare books and manuscripts that enhance the value of our collections for research and teaching. Please see financial support to learn how to make and direct your contribution to support our programming and collections.

Donating Books and Other Materials

Burns Library welcomes gifts of book, manuscripts, archives, and other materials that enhance or complement our existing collections. Please refer to our Collections Overview to see our collection strengths and the subject areas we have been developing. If your materials fall outside the scope of our collecting aims, we may be able to assist you in identifying more appropriate institutions to contact. Please refer to Boston College Libraries' gift policy for books that may be suitable for the general, circulating collections of one of our other campus libraries.
