IPEVO VZ-1 HD VGA/USB Document Camera

Quick Reference Guide

Note: This document camera has two modes and can be connected directly to a projector or monitor via VGA or to a computer (PC or Mac) via USB.

Installation: Projector or Monitor

  1. Connect a VGA cable to the “VGA port” on the back of the VZ-1 HD camera. Connect the other end of the VGA cable into your monitor or projector’s VGA port.
  2. Connect the USB power adapter to the “USB/Power port” in the back of the camera and plug the adapter into the power socket.
  3. Turn on the camera by pressing the “Power” button on the front of the unit.
  4. Turn the resolution selector below the power button to “Auto Res.”

Note: If an image does not appear while on “Auto Res,” you may also manually select a desired resolution by turning the resolution selector to the preset resolutions.

Installation: PC or Mac

  1. Insert the CD-ROM into your computer and follow the prompts to download the IPEVO Presenter Software.
  2. Connect the USB cable to the “USB/Power port” in the back of the camera and to your USB port on your computer.
  3. Turn on the camera by pressing the “Power” button on the front of the unit.
  4. Launch the Presenter Software on your computer and a window with a live video image from your document camera will appear.
