WorldCat: Finding Books in Other Libraries

WorldCat is a catalog of books in libraries all over the world. With WorldCat you can:

  • Identify books that you want to read and request them through interlibrary loan. WorldCat links you directly to our interlibrary loan service; so this is easy to do.

A particularly useful work is the Johns Hopkins Guide to Literary Theory which consists of over 240 alphabetically arranged entries on individual critics and theorists, critical and theoretical schools and movements, and the critical and theoretical innovations of specific countries and historical periods.
