  • American FactFinder Economic Census (U.S. Census Bureau)  
      
    Type in city and select state. The Geographic Area Series provides information on: Number of establishments, employment, payrolls, and receipts sales for business support organizations and includes hazardous waste disposal and recycling.
  • Chemical Scorecard (Environmental Defense Fund)  
      
    Ranks states, counties, zip codes, and facilities by pounds of pollution. Can be customized by type of pollution (air, water, ground) Data manipulated from the Toxic Release Inventory (EPA).
  • EnviroMapper (EPA)  
      
    Maps of watersheds and their environmental assessment, Superfund sites, and facilities monitored by the EPA. The information is easily searchable and browsable.
  • Homes and Communities (U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development)  
      
    The "Map your Community" feature allows mapping of Community Planning and Development statistics such as low income and elderly housing, environmental factors, flood hazards, census geographies, hydrography, transportation, landmarks.
  • State Environmental Agencies  
      
    State level directory with links to key Environment Agencies.
  • MassStats - Internet Explorer recommended.  
      
    Interactive Maps and Statistical Views of Massachusetts at the City level with data for Education, Housing, Crime, Politics and Public Health. Click on "I" icon then click on city to view data table.
