ArcGIS Software/Installation information
ArcGIS is a desktop geographic information system (GIS) produced by the Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI). With ArcGIS you can create maps using data from open access resources or a library collection of data. ArcGIS' tools offer users the ability to design detailed maps that display the results of data analysis.
ArcGIS is accessible via the Citrix server at https://bcapps.bc.edu
ArcGIS 10 is also available on GIS Workstations D4 and D5 in the O'Neill Library.
and on the second floor in the Digital Studio.

Any student or faculty may request installation of ArcGIS desktop, which is available for Windows platform only. Mac users must have Bootcamp software installed to run a Windows operating system.
